Here's the latest Hot Babe of the Week! photos from Twobobs.  These F-16 photos were taken by Bob himself of the ACAT/ERRP F-16 which is also the subject of an upcoming decal sheet.
Yufei Mao dropped by the ARC Corporate offices in Shanghai, China with his recently completed 1/72 ICM J-11A.  The J-11A is the Chinese license built version of the Su-27SK, but to give his model the special anniversary markings required decals form more than one source.  I must say I DO like the way this one turned out and it's good to see Chinese aircraft in special markings. 
Max Tollens Jr. is here today with his latest airliner.  this is his 1/144 Revell Germany Boeing 767 Conversion which was cut down from the 300 to be a 200 series 767.  I must say I do like the look of the various baremetal shades on this 767.......beautifully done Max. 
Donald Flynn aka "crazydon" has done an impressive job on his 1/72 Tamiya Bf 109E-4.  This is a BOB 109 and Don captured the look perfectly on his Emil.  I love seeing BOB aircraft....thanks Don.  
I have a product article for the new 1/48 F-16A MLU Falcon resin cockpit set from Aires.  This set does include the IFF "Bird Slicer" antennas along with a PE template to get the IFF antennas installed in the correct location.  How cool is that.
I have a product article for the new 1/32 MiG-29 Wheels and painting masks from from from from Zactomodels.  These are designed for the Trumpeter kit but can be used on the Revell kit with a  bit of effort.

I have a product article for the new 1/72 Boeing P-26 Peashooter Pt.3 decal sheet from Starfighter Decals.  This decal sheet includes 4 aircraft with paint schemes and markings that look more like brightly decorated aerobatic aircraft from the air show circuit rather than military aircraft.

  Turkey Republic Day 
Gokhan Eren starts this Turkish update with his spectacular 1/72 Italeri UH-1 D Turkish Army.  Gokhan added scratchbuilt detail to his Huey and then posed his Huey in a diorama with a river and figures and ground work to complete the scene. 
Zafer Yilmaz is here with his first of two models for this special Turkish update.  This is his 1/72 Tamiya Spitfire Mk.I with a dressed up with some seatbelts in the cockpit and finished off in Turkish Air force markings. 
Baran Cakmak is here with his very well detailed 1/72 PM Ho-229 A1 Horten.  Even though this is 1/72, Baran added extra details to get his flying wing looking excellent. 
Zafer Yilmaz is here with one of the more interesting 262's.  This is his 1/72 Revell Me262B-1/U1 with the nightfighter radar on the nose.  Zafer added plenty of aftermarket detail to really dress up his 262.  Very nicely done Zafer.

Giannis Doxas starts this special update with his 1/48 Kinetic F-84F Thunderstreak.  Giannis added plenty of beautifully done scratchbuilt and aftermarket detail and weathering to bring his Hellenic Thunderstreak to life.  
Zdeněk Eliáš  is here from the Czech Republic on the Czech National Day with this cool looking 1/72 AZ Model HC-102 Heli Baby.  This is a limit run kit which when finished builds into an excellent model of this rare little chopper.   Zdeněk did a wonderful job on it.
Yiannis Ladopoulos spent 2 year off and on building and detailing his 1/72 Italeri F-84F.  Yiannis scratchbuilt the cockpit and then gave it one of those great looking Greek camo paint jobs to finish off his classic Hellenic jet.
Martin Hemingway is here with a fascinating article about his exceptionally well done 1/48 Tamiya Avro Lancaster 'Dambuster' and the real aircraft it portrays.  This aircraft has quite the interesting story behind it.  Martin add extra detailing be using Eduard PE and then finished his Lanc in the markings for one of the aircraft in the historic Dambuster raid. 
Zdenek Eliáš joins us today with some HC-102 Heli Baby walkaround photos.

Hal Marshman Sr.  gets things started today on the right note with his flawless 1/48 Tamiya Bf-109E.  Hal has a talent for WW2 fighters and this 109 includes all the tiny scratchbuilt details that make a model stand out.  The antenna wire is a ting of beauty and Hal makes it sound so easy to do. 
David Wigley has done a fabulous job detailing, finishing and weathering his  1/32 English Electric Lightning.  This is a vac-u-formed kit and David made sure all the critical areas were looking right before he finished it off with a  first class paint and weathering job.  His Lightning looks just like the real thing.  
Paul S Teixeira has a passion for Naval trainer aircraft and you'll see that when you view his 1/48 Naval Aviator Factory.  I must admit I love the bright colors of trainer and Paul has captured the bright colors and weathering that makes his model such a  treat to see.  Paul didn't start with the best or easiest kits, but that didn't stop him from creating three gems.  These are great looking models. 
John A Thomas is here with 2 action packed dioramas.  These are his Seaview and Flying Sub dioramas complete with each of the subs bursting out of the water.  Seeing these dioramas brings back fond memories from when I watched this show as a kid.  John's technique for doing the water is simple to do and very effective.

  Austria National Day

Eduardo Arguijo dropped by the ARC Corporate office in Guatemala today with his 1/72 Fujimi A-6K.   Eduardo built this beauty mostly out of the box with the addition of resin seats.  But you've got the check out the paint and weathering job on his Intruder....spectacular.
Mark L. Rossmann did the necessary modifications to his 1/48 Accurate Miniatures B-25D to create this great looking bomber.  Mark used the much loved and out of print Albatross decals “Dragons and tigers and girls…oh my!” to give his B-25 some colorful markings to really make it stand out. 
Oliver Peissl is here today with his beautifully faded and weathered 1/48 HobbyBoss Mikojan Gurewitsch MiG-17F.  Oliver finished it off in Egyptian markings.
Claudio Meunier has a new book coming out about Aircraft flown by Argentine pilots during WW2.  Today he presents 4 colour profiles for you to enjoy.

Here's the latest Hot Babe of the Week! photos from Twobobs.  These weapons photos were taken by Bob himself.
  Michael Presley is here with the 1/32 Williams Bros. Militarized GeeBee R-1 'Fossfighter' originally built by the legendary Texan Buffalo George Toomer.  Michael performed a full restoration on this humorous model but read Michael's article to get the full and very interesting story.
Val Golez is here from the Philippines with a very sharp looking 1/144 Revell F-14 D.  Val did a bit of improving on his Tomcat before giving it a wonderful paint job with weathering and special markings which include a sharks mouth.  Very nicely done Val.
Scotty Diamond has built this stunning 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire MkI for a friend.  Scotty chose to make it a BOB Spitfire and he added various bit of extra scratchbuilt detailing as well as Eduard PE seatbelts before weathering and chipping the paint and displaying it on a diorama base with some ICM figures.  Scotty has a very lucky friend to have this model in his display case. 
FOXBORO joins us with this excellent looking 1/72 Art Model YaK-36.   FOXBORO added a rivet detail to this Yak-36 before giving it a flawless bare metal finish.  This is a very cool looking jet.  
I have a review of the new 1/72 Israeli Air Force F-15A/B/C/D Baz decal sheet from IsraDecal.  This decal sheet includes a choice of markings for 23 different Isreali F-15s.

Tom Hanley joins us from Honolulu with his very well done 1/72 Hasegawa RB-47H diorama.  Tom combined the Hasegawa kit with the Flightpath conversion set to complete his RB-47H.  He then added figures and equipment to his tarmac diorama to create his Cold War scene.  Tom has also written a book on this topic and you can read about that in his article as well.
David Rapasi joins us with his PTO 1/48 Tamiya F4U 1A Corsair.  This particular Corsair served with VMF 212 on Vella Lavella in late 1943 and Devid gave it a stunningly well done weathering job.
Paolo Yuen has done a beautiful job on his 1/72 Tamiya JAS-39C Gripen.  Paolo used the Pavla  cockpit, Aires nozzle to added further detail and then finished it off with Two Bobs decals.
Fabrizio Frassica is here with something very special today.  Here are 3 of his 1/48 Hasegawa Messerschmitt Bf-109's in the markings for the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana.  One of these aircraft is a model of one of only 3 K-4's used by the ANR during WW2.  All 3 are beautifully finished and built OOB with the exception of the decals.

My friend Paul Nortness has his 1/32 Hasegawa F-16C for you to enjoy today.  Paul put plenty of effort into rescribing his Viper before giving it a panel line wash and finishing it off with the Two Bobs Golden State Griffins sheet.  Nicely done Paul...I LIKE it!!. 
Alejandro "RUK" Rivas has done an exceptionally nice job building and finishing his  1/48 Academy Republic P-47D-25.  Alejandro finished his P-47 in the markings for the Chilean Air Force.
Pierre Christian Baudru is here with a very attractive looking 1/72 Eduard L-39 Albatros.  Pierre added some lovely detail to his Albatros using the PE parts that came with the model.
Rafi Ben-Shahar has chosen a very cool looking camo for his 1/48 Classic Airframes' S.M. 79/bis Sparviero.  Rafi also modified his S.M. 79 and added Eduard photoetch parts were added to enhance the undersides including the torpedo racks.  I REALLY like the look of the camo on this one..

Konley Kelley is famous on ARC for posing his models in digital artwork.  Today he is here with his 1/48 Monogram AT-6 Texan and he also includes photos of his digital 3D airfield.  Pretty cool Konley.
Karl Holubar has been very busy adding scratchbuilt detail as well as aftermarket goodies to finish his sharp looking 1/32 Revell Ju 88 C-2 conversion.  Karl provides a link to see 350 photos of the build process.  WOW!!!  Karl went to extreme lengths to detail his Ju-88. 
Burt Gustafson is here with something you don't see that often on ARC.  This is his great looking 1/72 Hasegawa EKA-3B Skywarrior finished in the markings for VAQ-130 "Zappers", U.S. Navy, June 1972.  It's good to see another Skywarrior on ARC. 
Jason Wolfe is here with his stunning 1/72 Italeri HH-60J Jayhawk using the Fireball Modelworks HH-60J resin conversion set, plus some details from the Eduard SH-60B photoetch set.  Jason had a disaster the first time he attempted this kit including an Xacto knife injury.  But he bought another set and kit and gave it another go with spectacular results.

Michael Presley starts today with one of the more famous Mustangs from WW2.  This is his 1/48 Tamiya P-51D Mustang 'Petie 2nd' and if you are building this aircraft or even this model then you will find this articles invaluable.  Darn fine Blue Nosed Mustang Michael. 
Pete Morgan went all out in detailing and displaying his in-flight 1/48 Revell Harrier GR9.  Read Pete's article to learn all the aftermarket and scratchbuilt detailing he did before building a very special and unique base for this excellent looking Harrier.
Hal Marshman Sr is here with another of his gems.  This is Hal's 1/48 Tamiya FW-190D-9 with all the fine touches that make Hal's models so enjoyable to behold.  Hal also give you some insight into this particular kit from Tamiya. 
Ahmed Kanawati has done an exceptionally nice job building, detailing his  and finishing his  1/35 Academy M113.  Ahmed chose to finish his M113 in the markings for the Lebanese Army.

Here's the latest Hot Babe of the Week! photos from Twobobs.  These Greek Buckeye photos were taken by Mathias Leischner and also Andreas Zeitler.  These photos have great weathering detail.
Zotz Decals has a  new 1/24 P-47 decal sheet coming out that is devoted to noseart from the Silver screen.  Here's the third and final image from the instruction sheet.  This sheet features sexy noseart as well as P-47's flown by Aces.
Burak TOKGOZOGLU joins us from Turkey with his very special 1/48 Monogram P-40B Flying Tiger.  This is the old classic Monogram Flying Tiger that Burak rebuilt and turned into a first class example of the plane that fought over china against impossible odds.  Burak added wheel wheel detail to his P-40. 
Juanjo Domínguez with his spectacular 1/72 Hasegawa SH-60B "Scorpions".  Juanjo scratchbuilt hundreds of parts for his SH-60B including a full interior.  Sit down and enjoy the photos, this one is a gem. 
Chip Berseth did a beautiful job building and finishing his 1/48 Revell-Monogram P-38J Lightning.  For markings, Chip chose the markings for Dick Bong's fabled P-38J "Marge".  
Jason Foo has been very busy getting everything looking perfect on his 1/48 Italeri A-10 Thunderbolt II.  Jason added scratchbuilt detailing then a full weapons load and a flawless paint job.  This is one sharp looking A-10.

Andrew Desautels is here today with some very special photos from the 2008 USS Arizona Reunion.  This reunion was hosted at the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor. 
Jim Court is here with a special 1/24 Cedar Creek snap together Beaver.  Jim flew this particular Beaver with  Les Ailes  Du Nord/Northern Wings Ltd, back in the late 1960’s and his article includes info on the smaller details about his model. 
Eduardo Natal has been busy adding aftermarket detail to his 1/48 Trumpeter RA-5C Vigilante.  Eduardo used the Aires interior and jet exhaust sets to dress up his Vigilante, then he finished it in a rare SEA paint scheme.
Paolo De Sanctis has done a wonderful job on his 1/72 Airfix Hurricane Mk.Ia.  This is a BOB Hurrie and Paolo dedicates his Hurricane to the heroic pilots that fought during the BOB defending the British Isles during the summer of 1940. 
I have a review of the new 1/48 Fire Pump cart from Hippo Models.  This is just the sort of thing you need for your 1/48 WW1 diorama.
I have a review of the new 1/72 Curtiss P-6E Hawk USAAC Pt.2 decal sheet from Starfighter Decals.  This new decal sheet includes markings for 3 aircraft from the 33rd Pursuit Squadron 2 Aircraft from the 94th Pursuit Squadron 1 aircraft from March Field, CA.

  Anniversary of X-1 Supersonic Flight - Oct 14 1947 
Zotz Decals has a  new 1/24 P-47 decal sheet coming out that is devoted to noseart from the Silver screen.  Here's the second image from the instruction sheet.  This sheet features sexy noseart as well as P-47's flown by Aces.
Larry Shred is here today with the final of his 6 part series about building models.  Here is P47-D for the fun of it - Part 6.  You can find this series in the "Tools 'n' Tips" section under "Modelling Tips for Beginners".      Well done Larry!!!
Paolo Yuen is here with a  beautifully weathered 1/72 Hasegawa E-2C.  It is very difficult to get USN aircraft to look realistic due to their weathered patchy paint jobs......but Paolo has done a perfect job on this one. 
David Rapasi is here with one of his late war Luftwaffe airfield defenders.  This is his 1/32 Hasegawa FW 190D finished off in the classic paint job with red and white undersides as used by the Doras of the Galland Circus. 
Ian Buick has done a gorgeous job building and finishing his  1/72 RoG Typhoon T.3.  This is the two-seat trainer version of the typhoon and Ian finished it off with weathering and drop tanks and missiles.
I have a review of the new 1/48 Posable AN/AAS-38(R/M) FLIR Pod from MAW Decals.  This set is designed for the Revell/Monogram F/A-18 kit.
I have a review of the new 1/48 MiG-17F resin cockpit set from Aires.  This cockpit set includes resin, photo etch and acetate.

Larry Shred gets things started today with part 5 of his 6 part series about building models.  Here is "P47-D for the fun of it - Part 5". 
John Morrey pulled out all the stops when building his 1/72 Testors B-2A Spirit.  John detailed the cockpit and bomb bays and then scratchbuilt a set of engines for his B2.  Wow this one is a beauty and the paint job looks perfect.  
Dan McWilliams is here with  his sharp looking 1/48 P-40 Kittyhawk that is a model of an aircraft stationed on the west coast of Canada during WW2.  Nicely done Dan.. 
David Mielke is here with a  very special 1/48 Tamiya F-84G MiG Killer Thunderjet.  This particular F-84 shot down 2 MiG-15's in one mission during the Korean war.  David tells the whole story of that historic mission and well as shows you photos of his great looking Thunderjet.

Larry Shred is here with Part 4 in his 6 part model building series.  The series is titled P47-D for the fun of it, but it deals with techniques that can be applied to most models. 
Terry Chan has been very busy correcting and detailing his 1/32 Trumpeter Su-27 Flanker.  Terry loaded up on resin goodies from Zacto Models and Aires and finished it off with decals from Linden Hill Decals.  Very nicely done Terry.
Michael Presley has done an extremely good job on his 1/48 Minicraft Cessna 172 Floatplane.  Mike has done what I think is almost impossible, he has added all the correct cables to the floats on his floatplane.....this is a very difficult to do.  Mike also gave his Cessna a first class paint and weathering job.
Sang Hoon Hwangbo joins us from South Korea with this beautiful 1/35 Dragon UH-1H.   This very detail Huey is actually a combination of a few kits to get the correct details.  The finished model is amazing.  I hope to see more models from Sang Hoon Hwangbo on ARC.

Larry Shred gets things started today with part 3 of his 6 part Tools 'n' Tips series on how to build a model.  He's calling his series....P47-D for the fun of it.  Enjoy. 
"Harv" has done an outstanding job building and finishing his 1/48 Monogram CF-101 Voodoo.  Harv was lucky enough to have the actual full sized aircraft nearby when building his Canadian Voodoo. 
David Rapasi got everything looking perfect on his 1/48 Tamiya P-47 & P-51 - A Pair of Checker Tails.  These two fighters flew with the 325th Fighter Group and David finished them in baremetal with aftermarket decals. 
Ben Pardini joins us from paradise with his Ertl Klingon Bird of Prey.  This is a sharp looking model of the Bird of Prey and Ben's article is an enjoyable read..

Hevesi István joins us from Hungary with this absolutely beautifully done 1/72 Airfix Concorde.  This kit dose require plenty of effort to build, but István has shown that it does build into a great looking model if you put  the effort into it. 
Bernard Lapeyrie has been busy detailing his 1/48 Hasegawa AICHI D3A1 Val.  Bernard  aded 3 CMK detail sets to his Val to create a very detailed model of this classic Japanese dive bomber.  Very nicely done Bernard. 
Manfredo Aceituno is here with his first model on ARC.  This is a beautifully done 1/72 Monogram F-4J Phantom built out of the box with a  bit of effort due to some fit issues and then finished off with full weathering.  Welcome to ARC Manfredo and I look forward to seeing more of your models on ARC in the future.

Larry Shred is here with Part 1 of his 6 part Tools n Tips series titled P47-D for the fun of it.  Larry has worked long and hard putting together this massive article which is more of a how-to for new modelers showing techniques and tips to build better models.  Part 2 runs tomorrow.
Francone Diego had an enjoyable time building  the 1/72 Fujimi Mig-21 SMT. Francone added a resin cockpit set from Pavla and then did some scratchbuilding to create other details before giving his MiG-21 a very well done bare metal finish.
Bruce Hunt has gone to town on his 1/48 Eduard FW 190 A-6.  Bruce opened up the engine panels to show off the stunning engine detail he added and then he moved to the cockpit and added extra detail there to bring his Fw-190 to life.  Beautifully done Bruce. 
Steve Eggers is here with his 1/72 Revell B-2 Advanced Technology Bomber.  This is Steve's 3rd time building this kit.  For those of you that have never seen this kit, it was a kit released before anyone knew what the B-2 would look like, so it does have the charm of being a concept kit.  I do like the look of it with it's sleek soft lines.
I have a review of the new 1/32 P-38 Lightnings decal sheet from Zotz Decals.  You get markings for 3 different P-38's including a night fighter and all of them have sexy noseart.

Here's the latest Hot Babe of the Week! photos from Twobobs.  These Saudi F-15 photos were taken by Kevin Whitehead and  Wally Van Winkle.
Arthur Karas had an enjoyable time building this sharp looking 1/48 Italeri Mirage F1CZ.  Arthur finished his Mirage F1CZ in the markings for the South African Air Force complete with the great looking camo worn by the SAAF Mirages.
"Kit" has done a beautiful time building and weathering this 1/48 Tamiya A6M5 "Zero".  The weathered paint job is expertly done......and it was all done with a  brush.....incredible.
Hugh Janus is here to make you grin with his "what-if" 1/72 Westland Scorpion.  This particular aircraft is a combination of the Me-262 and Gloster Meteor and spots the famous markings for Johnnie Johnson.  Gotta' love that!!!
Pawel Befinger has done a fine job building and weathering his 1/72 Italeri UH-1B Huey.  Pawel finished his Huey in US Army markings as seen in Vietnam in 1965.

David Chong has todays first model in honour of the 60th National Day of People's Republic of China.  This is David's 1/72 Trumpeter J-10 finished up as the J-10 prototype complete with a Chinese flag artwork on the tail.  David shares some insight into painting his J-10.  Good looking paint scheme David. 
Haroon Nadeem is here with a model of his 1/48 Revell Mi-24D.  Haroon went with a camo scheme used by the East Germany.  A nicely done OOB build.   
"Benner" has done an impressive amount of work to create his 1/48 Italeri F3 Tornado ADV as it appeared during Operation Granby.  Benner used Eduard Photo etch......piles of detail items from Paragon, weapons from Hasegawa and some decals from Xtradecal to create this Gulf War Tornado.  Wow!!!
Richard Letham is here with his 1/72 Tamiya Focke Wulf Fw 190 D9.  Richard dressed it up with some photo etch to enhance the detailing before finishing it off in the markings for blue 15 JG 301 in Barvaria 1945.
