Here is the sample decal sheet for the soon to be released Pitts S2C by Airshowmodels.com. Another 1/32 scale mixed media kit, this will be the fourth in the series of models by this Canadian Company.
The decals are extremely thin and in "register". On the test wing, I found that normal decal setting solution does not work in sliding the decal into place. Instead, I used Mother Nature's setting solution...a bit of saliva on the finger followed by sliding the decal from the backing paper and into position. Once the decals are placed and the colours line up on the leading edges in particular, I gave them a coating of Solvaset.
One word of caution, the decal flames have no carrier between the flame tips and this area might break during placement. To overcome this possibility, I cut the decal and then placed it as a seperate piece later. These cuts are noted on the sample sheet.
The attached sample sheet is of very low resolution.
