1/72 Casa C.2111 "Pedro"

The Heinkel He-111 was used in different versions by the Spanish Air Force, and until the seventies!!!  One of the most important problems for the Spanish industry was the difficulty of finding engines in order to finish more than one hundred airframes of this model.  Finally the chosen one was the British Merlin.   I took the Revell kit, together with other aftermarket items, Eduad etchs and CMK resins.  For the engines I modified an old kit from Dekno, designed to be used  with the Italeri kit and very crude in form.   The interior was upgraded with the CMK cockpit, Eduard bomb bay, and some scratch built details.  Exterior details were the movable surfaces, undercarriage and engines, and also some scratch built modifications.

The paint job includes Spanish roundels and numbers.  Gunze and Tamiya acrylics were used.  Decals were from the kit and home-made.   I hope you enjoy this model.  This my first submission in this website and I would like to say thanks to all my friends in the yoryi puntocom Forum, for all the support during this difficult project.

Greetings

Oscar
