I built this Monogram Panther some years ago using a True Details photoetched detail set and resin weighted wheels.  The kit builds up nicely straight from the box.

The completed model was brush painted using Humbrol enamel paints and Superscale decals were used to represent an aircraft of VF-192 "Golden Dragons" as featured in the film "The Bridges at Toko Ri".  I also used Superscale's F9F stencil decal sheet.   

The Osprey Publications book "Korean War Aces" was a good source of photographic and colour side view information on Korean War Panthers.
