Airfix's 1/48th Scale Buccaneer S2B.

More or less straight from the box, painted in 208 Sqn colours for the Red Flag exercise at Nellis AFB in 1977.

The Dark Earth and Mid-Stone was supposed to be temporary, but the heat of the Nevada sun baked the paint on!!! Never had that problem at Lossiemouth or  Honnington!!!!!

A great kit, but you do need your wits about you!!  A shake & bake it ain't!

Hope you have as much fun looking at it as I had building it!!

Not entirely sure that the 208 Sqn markings should be on the starboard side - most photo's show the "Red Star" side,  but thought I'd deploy a little artistic whatname...
