Sukhoï Su-27S Ukrainian Air Force
This model is a Hasegawa 1/72 Sukhoï Su-27S from the box K40 (for
memory with pastic parts we can find in this box landing gears and seat in
white metal + photocut parts for cockpit and engines). I decided to show this big
plane with a Ukrainian Air Force digital paint scheme with Authentic decals
72-61. This special scheme represents the "blue 100" at
Aviasvit airshow at Hostomel Ukraine in September 2012. The 831st Tactical
Aviation Brigade is the only Ukrainian unit in charge of Su-27 fleet
approximately 20 are full combat readiness for an entire fleet of 42 Su-27 and
based at Myrhorod AB from Air Command Centre. I try to follow Hasegawa and Authentic
Decals instructions regarding colors with my touch after watching pictures
of the real machine on the web. The upper sky blue Gunze acrylic H323 not
far from FS15092 and lower camouflage light blue from Xtracolor X602
not far from FS25183. All tails antennas and the nose are grey Humbrol
64. I added a light weathering and black juice to enhance structure lines
and panels. Both acts of bravery are the implementation of blue and grey digital
decals very fragile and how to show all shades of metallic colors used on
engines. I used a combination of Mr Color iron 212 dark iron 214 and dry
brushing with Mr Color SM03 super iron, SM04 super stainless and Humbrol gold 91
and a mix of aluminium 11 + blue 15.

To enhance the model I decided to show the model with an opened canopy and air brake. I only added all armament pylons from the box without any missiles, airshow is not the war
isn't it! More seriously it is the airshow configuration. I added a metal tube to show the 30mm Gsh30-1 gun mouth.

To finish I hope you like my model and I'm really a great fan of the Sukhoï 27 family and it is my first digital camo plane and none
Russian colors Sukhoï. I'm very proud of it and it is eye catching.
For memory the specifications for Su-27 are:
I have one thought for
Ukrainian people which is in darkest days with big political troubles мужність.
