This Great
Wall Hobby's 1/48 Fw-189 kit - far superior to the old MPM version with
respect to detail and ease of construction. My aircraft represents
Fw-189A-1, H1+B1, 3HPz./Aufkl.12 that operated in the Don River area of
the former USSR in 1942. Construction was essentially out-of-the-box

Camouflage
entailed various tints/shades of the standard splinter scheme of RLM 70/71
over RLM 65. Cockpit and wheel wells were RLM66 and RLM02, respectively.
I used a combination of Model Master, Polly Scale and Tamyia acrylics followed
by light/moderate weathering with oil pin washes, oil filters and pastels.

I highly recommend
this excellent kit to any fan of World War II Luftwaffe aircraft.
