Hasegawa 09604 P-38L 'down beat', includes this famous marking 'Marge' for the American's top ace Maj. Richard Ira Bong's P-38.  The fit of the parts and panel lines of this kit are not so perfect, during the building process you need to be very careful and deepening panel lines is needed (which I didn't do).  Revell also has a 'Marge' marking P-38, if you want to build a 'Marge', you may want to see if Revell is better.

The pilot figure is a resin product from a Korean manufacturer, I bought it many years ago and forgot the manufacturer's name, the jeep is a recent year Hasegawa willys.

The metal finish is done using Mr.hobby #159 super silver overlaying #8 silver.  The 'polished' mirror on the inner side of engine nacelle is a sticker comes OOB.
