USMC Birthday (1775)

Here is my Hasegawa 1/48 scale F4U-4 Corsair. The kit was built straight out of the box with the addition of an electric motor.

Captain Kenneth Walsh flew this particular aircraft in June 1945 off of Okinawa. The decals are from the Aeromaster USN/USMC Top Guns Of WWII set.  The kit was painted using Model Master paint.
