1/48 Tamiya F4U-1D

This is Tamiya's F4U-1D built straight from the box with the exception of clipping the wings to represent a Fleet Air Arm Corsair IV. Some other mods such as the prop I missed, also the light under the wing shouldn't be there.  C'est la vie!

The model is painted and marked with Aeromaster decals to represent the aircraft flown by S/Lt JR Ferguson, Royal Canadian Navy, flying from HMS Arbiter in the Indian Ocean in March 1945.  Note the partially overpainted fuselage roundel.
